Erin Ward is a computer consultant living in the Denver, Colorado metro area. She grew up in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. and first learned of her love of computers when her father brought home an Apple II computer in the 1980's.

          She further encountered Apple II computers in middle school, learning to write BASIC programs and use word processing software. In high school, she enrolled in further computer classes where she encountered PCs and Macintosh computers.

          In college she continued her eduaction of computers and computer science. She took on several on-campus jobs with the University of Maryland, all perfoming some type of computer work. She graduated from college and started her own computer consulting company. After doing that for several years, she moved on to work at USA TODAY, the world's largest newspaper.

          While at USA TODAY, she supported the custom publishing software used to create the newspaper. She also underwent training, where she achieved the CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCSE and Apple ADSC certifications. She continued her freelance business on her time off, and was hired by numerous clients as a digital printing expert.

          After honing her professional skills at USA TODAY for more than three years, she moved to Portland, Oregon. She lived there for a year before moving on to Denver, Colorado.

          Currently Erin is living in Denver, Colorado and specializes in Macintosh and PC support, networking, as well as spyware and virus removal for home-based and small business clients.
